Summer/Track-Out Camps
At STEMxl, we offer a variety of computer programming camps. Our STEM camps also include Science, Engineering, and Math competitions camps.
Q: Why does my school-age child need to know computer programming?
A: Computer Programming is considered the fourth “R” required for 21st century literacy – Reading, wRiting, aRithmetic and pRogramming.
To guarantee that students benefit the most from our STEM camps, we enroll no more than 5 students per session. Small groups foster problem-solving, communication skills and team work minus the distractions, while at the same time enabling us to provide individualized attention to each student. We don’t cancel due to low enrollment!

Thanks for your interest in our STEM camps. Due to ongoing professional activities, we will not be offering any summer camps this summer (2015). We look forward to interacting with your students in Summer 2016 with our enhanced camp offering including our currently popular computer programming camps.

Our camps are offered in Cary, NC (serving the Triangle region) for students in Grades 3 and up. If your student is in a grade other than what is indicated for a particular camp, please discuss it with us. Please click below for camp logistics.

Students bring their own laptops – if one needs to be provided please notify us two weeks in advance and additional charges may apply.

All camps are half-day camps. Morning camps run from 9:00am-12:00noon. Afternoon camps run from 1:00pm-4:00pm. Unless otherwise specified, they are morning half-day camps.

For morning camps, drop-off is 8:45am-9:00am and pickup is 12:00noon-12:15pm. For afternoon camps, drop-off is 12:45pm-1:00pm and pickup is 4:00pm-4:15pm.

Each half-day camp costs $195. Multi-camp and sibling discounts are available – $175 per camp per student payable at the time of registration of the first camp.
